Obama Visits Impoverished Indians

Wanblee, South Dakota –
Local Natives were quite surprised this morning when amidst a whirlwind of snow, two stretch limos appeared from out of nowhere and President elect Barack Obama emerged to greet the locals and express his concern for their plight. Mr. Obama showed his solidarity with his Red brothers by wearing a pair of beaded moccasins on this occasion.
As BIA police herded local residents from their homes, President Obama approached the podium and delivered a short but intense speech. He assured the locals that he was aware of their needs and promised to assit them. ” Just as my people had to break the chains of bondage, so too must the Red man pull himself up by his moccasin straps and take his rightful place in society” he told the huddled crowd. ” I have heard your cries of poverty and oppression the need for infrastructure and I will keep my promise to you. This spring, each reservation will receive one (1) new bulldozer to build roads with. Build your roads to prosperity and know that you have a friend in Washington, always. I am a man of my word and I have promised change and it is on its way. Now I know you have gardens to tend and fields to hoe, so I am not going to keep you any longer on this chilly day. God bless the Indians and God bless America. Remember, change is on its way” and with that, President Obama departed in a whirlwind of snow, leaving the locals in stunned amazement.
As the BIA policeman herded people back to their homes, it was apparent Obama’s speech had touched many hearts. One man, Wally Hangs Around the Fort, was seen with tears in his eyes. When asked what in Obama’s speech moved him the most, he replied, “I never knew Jesus was Black” and then shuffled towards his home. The promise of change is extending far and wide, even to remote reservations and the people can feel it in the air. Change is coming.

That goesh person might be reporting something that never happened. I have a case of powdered eggs says we won’t see that bulldozer. You can put your commod cheese on the line too that if that Daschle guy gets to be the boss of health and welfare, the rez won’t see as much as one additional medic. They are still hanging around the fort over at Indian Country Today, falling all over themselves bowing and scraping to the black jesus.

Obama Proposes Relocation To Solve Indian Crisis

After a secret meeting with former Senator Tom Daschle and others in the know from Indian Country, President elect Obama made a brief but poignant announcement early this morning.
“My fellow Americans, we recently saw a disaster unfold in our heartland and it touches my heart deeply. The current Administration, under you-know-who, failed completely to even attempt to meet the needs of the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. I have been informed that 34 people have frozen to death and 27 people starved to death. People were torching their cars in an effort to stay warm and my sources tell me there isn’t as much as a cracker on hand for the people to eat. Had I been in charge, I would have sent in gunships and tanks to drop off blankets and food but as you know, I am in transition and have no real authority to lend a helping hand to my Red brothers and sisters. I hear your cries, rest assured of that. When I assume the Presidency, I have been advised that due to our current financial crisis, funding for all Indian programs will be reduced by 43.7%. We must all sacrifice for the good of our nation but I have a plan. I have never forgotten my pledge to the Indians of America to assist them to pull themselves up and out of the mire of poverty. Under my new program, Indians in Transition, any man under the age of 60 who moves to an urban area and cuts his hair will recieve $100.00 cash, 200.00$ worth of food stamps and 6 months free rent in any section 8 housing project of his choice. This will enable Indian men to find decent jobs and support their families back home while at the same time, easing the drain on already short resources on the reservations. Indians are a strong people and they will persevere during the current crisis, I am convinced of that. Rest assured, change is on the way and hope is very much alive in Indian country and all throughout our great land. God bless the Indians and America.”

Federal Agents Invade Pine Ridge Indian Reservation

Pierre, South Dakota –
John Carrell, Senior Agent of the Bureau’s Midwest Region held a press conference today to confirm reports of black helicopters over Pine Ridge. Scores of FBI agents in winter apparel are scouring the countryside in desperate search for members of the newly arisen militant group, HA , Heyokas Anonymous. The HA leader known only as Badger Boy, has threatened to burn the entire village of White Clay on the southern border of Pine Ridge, and to take desperate action against known corrupt BIA officials and tribal leaders.
“We are not going to have a bunch of red renegades burning White settlements” Commander Carrell said during the interiview. “That sort of conduct ended at a place not too far from here called Wounded Knee and we are fully committed to peaceful coexistance with Native Americans but we are not going to tolerate a vicious, indigenous terrorist group like Heyokas Anonymous to exist and strike fear in the hearts of White neighbors and Indians alike. I have sent 168 agents with 4 translators into Pine Ridge yesterday and we expect to have this Badger Boy and his fanatics in custody very shortly.”
Commander Carrell refused comment on questions pertaining to reports that four (4) BIA and Tribal officials were taken into protective custody after black arrows with white spots were shot into the sides of their houses by HA members. The black arrow with white spots is some kind of gang symbol HA members have and they reportedly wear denim jackets with the arrow on back during their secret ceremonies. A confidential source with the Reservation Police reports that 40 molotov cocktails were recently found in a snow bank near White Clay but the source refused further comment on whether or not any black arrows had been shot into the bars at White Clay. Rumors abound in this isolated region of the hearland but only time will tell if HA is just a passing fad or yet another desperate attempt to prevent what many call the destruction of traditional Lakota culture by alcohol.

If you are really here for Native American why is it we dont have more publicity for Native American Month? and why don’t native americans get more help with financial issues in all states? I would like to run as rep to help these things happen for ALL native americans.
